Yes I take photos but a lot of time and work is involved in pushing and punishing the pixels in my images to achieve the look I like.

I had my camera on my gorillapod and had spread it out on the big horizontal log that you see in the lower right side of the frame. I shot 10 exposures but the camera shifted a little after the first five, so I had to use Photoshop to align everything before merging to HDR using Photomatix.

This view is hauntingly empty with the water drained from the lagoon and the sun wheel in a state of reconstruction.

Much of what is there now will soon be torn down. I am trying to document as much of it as possible before it's gone. This sign has neon lighting and is also spectacular at night.
