I recently retired after a 45 year a career in business development as a graphic designer/color management specialist/color corrector. In addition to creating all manner of compelling visuals for proposals, statements of qualifications, and presentations, my other specialty was converting narrative to visuals, with a goal of creating compelling submittal documents. Twenty years ago, I wholeheartedly embraced digital photography and have never looked back. Recent experiments with High Dynamic Range (HDR), and panoramic photography have recharged my creative senses and inspired me to try new things.
I love anything to do with Disney, airplanes, spacecraft, San Francisco, travel in general, music, playing guitar, reading (all five books of the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy "trilogy" are must reads), skateboarding and computers. I've built my own high performance computers for years and in mid 2011 built my latest rig which is now very out of date. I am hoping to build a new computer in 2023.
I am very happily married to a wonderful and beautiful woman and and am surrounded by those that matter most to me, my family.
My favorite resturants are In-n-Out Burger and Ruth's Chris Steakhouse.
